Job Title :  Family Law Paralegal

Location :  Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established and fast-paced litigation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on family law experience and be comfortable supporting two partners and three associates with a range of complex legal matters.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.

Experience : Minimum of 4 years of recent experience as a family law paralegal, specifically within a litigation setting.

Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of family law procedures, including dissolution of marriage, child custody and support, equitable distribution, alimony, and post-judgment modifications / enforcements.

Skills : Strong drafting, organizational, calendaring, and case management skills. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be dependable, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Certifications : Paralegal certification (such as from NALA or a similar organization) is preferred but not required.

Compensation :

Commensurate with experience, up to $89,000 annually , plus an excellent benefits package.
