Summary
The Manufacturing Machining Engineer Technician supports daily manufacturing operations with a focus on process efficiency / improvement, cost reduction, and quoting new work opportunities. This role involves CNC programming, tooling, prototyping, and process optimization for machining metals and alloys. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements
Preferred Associates in Technical Degree but not requiredMinimum of 3 years professional experience in manufacturing machiningSubject matter expertise in the following manufacturing processes :CNC Milling and Turning (standard and multi axis)
Broaching, Shaping, Spline Rolling, and HobbingCNC Grinding (ID, OD, Centerless, Surface)Heat TreatmentsMachining experience with metals / alloys such as aluminum, steel, cast iron, powder / sintered metalCAD / CAM experiencePPAP experienceFixture designing (manual & hydraulic)Problem solving techniques (six sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, PFMEA)Proficient with interpretation and application of GD&TBenefits : 401(k) with match
