Job descriptionLead planning, upgrades, and expansion of SCADA systems in line with a long-term automation master plan Program, integrate, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk, and Emerson / Bristol Babcock systems Support water and wastewater utility operations through advanced automation and controls engineering Ensure cybersecurity practices are implemented and maintained for industrial control systems Develop and implement HMI and telemetry solutions to optimize system performance Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across PLC, HMI, and communication networks Provide leadership and mentoring on technical projects within the engineering team Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reliable and efficient utility operations Participate in system upgrades, replacements, and integration projects following PlantPAX philosophy Maintain technical documentation and system configurations for long-term support Perform on-site work in environments with varying conditions, including proximity to high-voltage equipment

Location – Castle Rock, CO (On-site role)
Role Type – Direct Hire, Full-Time
Must Have Skills :
- Rockwell Suite Expertise : Extensive hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs and FactoryTalk View SE, including troubleshooting, configuration, and building from scratch.
- Ignition + MQTT Communications : Strong experience with Ignition (including Ignition Edge) combined with MQTT for SCADA communications, data transfer, reporting, and visualization.
- Field Instrumentation Skills : Proven ability to calibrate, configure, and wire field instruments to PLCs, ensuring full integration from device through SCADA.
- Proven experience in water / wastewater utilities or industrial automation environments
