A Prominent Real Estate Firm is seeking a Commercial Building Engineer to lead and assist with hands-on preventative maintenance of building systems in the Charlotte, NC region. Specializing in the development and management of a large portfolio of Class-A Property, this is a highly regarded organization with a strong track record of success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of building systems for the safe, efficient, and proper operations of assigned properties.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of commercial, retail, and mixed-use properties.
• Monitor and maintain building automation systems to optimize energy efficiency and tenant comfort.
• Monitor and manage building performance to meet sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
• Troubleshoot and address HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate and oversee contracted services for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with property management teams to plan and execute capital improvements projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, conducting regular safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment specifications.
