Transform Skin Cancer Care Through Dermatologic Surgery Excellence
WNS HealthHelp is revolutionizing cancer and dermatologic care delivery through evidence-based reviews of dermatologic procedures. We’re seeking experienced, certified Dermatologists on contract with fellowship training or substantial experience in MOHS micrographic surgery to support our Dermatology program.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Dermatology (MOHS) Physician Reviewer, you will :
- Conduct reviews of dermatologic cases, including MOHS micrographic surgery, excisional and reconstructive skin procedures, and related dermatologic interventions.
- Evaluate medical necessity for advanced dermatologic surgical procedures, ensuring alignment with NCCN, AAD, and other evidence-based guidelines.
- Provide peer-to-peer consultations with dermatologists, surgeons, and oncologists to foster collaboration and improve patient outcomes.
- Stay current with advances in dermatologic oncology, reconstructive techniques, and minimally invasive approaches.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of utilization management processes and help shape future dermatology care delivery.
- Deliver clear, clinically supported rationales for medical necessity determinations, ensuring transparency in decision-making.
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicineCurrent, active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state or territory of the United StatesBoard Certification in Dermatology with a subspecialty certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery or DermatopathologyProven experience treating cutaneous malignancies and performing reconstructive surgery.Strong ability to collaborate with treating physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
Utilization management or case review experience.Familiarity with NCCN guidelines for skin cancers, AAD dermatology practice parameters, and payer review standards.Expertise in complex reconstructions following MOHS surgery.Experience in academic or community dermatology practice with a focus on dermatologic oncology.Ability to provide concise, evidence-based clinical rationales for case reviews.WNS HealthHelp provides cutting-edge technology to streamline the review process, including our proprietary HIPAA – compliant portal and Physician App, ensuring efficiency and ease of use for our specialists.
