Position Overview: If you are reviewing this requisition from other websites, we recommend you apply via our website directly to the position in lieu of applying through other websites. We are adding Superintendents to our Central division of Kiewit to support our growing Infrastructure project portfolio around the country. As a Superintendent for us, you will lead and supervise all aspects of self-performed construction for a variety of infrastructure projects that could include site prep for major highway infrastructure projects, bridge projects, rail/transit, aviation, water/wastewater and power. This team is the first construction team to the site, performing site prep for the roads, bridges or industrial buildings. Our team performs mass grading/excavation, cut and fill, drainage, paving, underground piping and utility work, earthwork, site development, concrete form work, asphalt paving, and related activities.

In this role your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform daily inspections of work for Safety, Quality and Productivity. Assure proper planning and communication is happening for all operations that you oversee. Identify and solve problems that arise. Establish budgetary guidelines for the job and ensure that cost control measures are being followed. Provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel. Establish quality standards of all jobs and ensure that all quality assurance and company standards are being met. Develop and manage job schedules (e.g. three-week, 90-day, man loading), coordinate work with other crafts, departments, contractors and suppliers.

ENR ranks us as #2 in Construction, and we excel at delivering EPC projects, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects. If you are looking for a career, with stability and a diverse portfolio of EPC projects to work on and want to work on hyperscale projects, look no further! We are an employee-owned company which fosters dedication and commitment to project success and are positioned as a key player in meeting growing infrastructure demands. We cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation and teamwork, making it the most rewarding place to build your career.

At Kiewit, we believe in building more than just structures, we build relationships, strengthen communities and improve the world. We don't just build projects - we build careers! We are the best at what we do. With top notch health benefits, great time off, flexible work options, a wealth-building 401K plan and unbeatable growth opportunities - we are deeply invested in the future of our employees. Your future is here. Join us at Kiewit, where we go beyond engineering and construction to build the road to success!

District Overview: Kiewit's Central District is one of our largest infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, structural concrete/bridge, water/wastewater, and transportation projects. While headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the majority of our work is concentrated in the Central and South-Central regions of the United States.
