This contract position (through Covendis, up to two years) will join the Strategy & Planning team at TDEC, collaborating with State Parks, Natural Areas, Archaeology, and Outdoor Recreation.You?ll turn big ideas into site-specific concepts that balance resource protection, visitor experience, and thoughtful design. Work will include both technical design (CAD, GIS, renderings, presentations) and fieldwork in Tennessee?s forests, rivers, and open spaces. Responsibilities Include : ? Develop concept and schematic designs (plans, renderings, 3D sketches? Draft and maintain CAD bases tied to GIS data Produce site analyses, alternatives, and phasing plans Support public workshops and design charrettes Align projects with accessibility standards and TSP brand / design guidelines Deliverables include concept alternatives, preferred concepts with phasing, CAD plans, and presentation materials.Preferred Experience & Qualifications : ? 5+ years in landscape architecture / design (parks, trails, civic, or campus?
