Position Title : Special Education Assistive Technology Specialist
Contract Work Year : 190 Days
Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. with 30 minutes for lunch
Reports to : Director of Special Education
Purpose
The Assistive Technology (AT) Specialist supports students with disabilities by evaluating, recommending, implementing, and maintaining assistive technology tools and services to ensure equitable access to the curriculum and school environment. The AT Specialist collaborates with educators, related service providers, families, and administrators to integrate appropriate technology into the instructional setting in compliance with IDEA and Section 504.
