Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00–07 : 30) – Weekends Required
Job Responsibilities :
Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in an academic medical center environment.Administer aerosol therapies, MDIs, nebulized medications, and high-flow oxygen therapy.Perform ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.Conduct airway management including extubation, oral / nasal airway placement, suctioning, sputum collection, and tracheostomy care.Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and adjust respiratory interventions accordingly.Support pulmonary hygiene techniques and oxygen delivery systems including HFNC, trach collar, and T-piece therapies.Float within scope to other hospital areas as needed; may be required to float to another campus.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans across Med / Surg units and PCU.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experienceRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – required.Ohio State Respiratory Care License – required and must be active at start.BLS certification – required.ACLS – preferred but recommended.High school diploma – required.Proficiency with aerosol delivery systems, bronchodilator therapy, airway management, ventilator operations, and ABG interpretation.Ability to manage patients within Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings (preferred experience).Previous travel experience preferred but not required.Ability to work every other weekend and float as needed.About HonorVet Technologies
