Position Overview :
The Assistant Project Manager will review project drawings and specifications, estimate project costs, prepare project proposals, and to submit proposals.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Travels to sites to review projects, meet with current and prospective customers.
- Bids projects within the industrial environment that hth companies operate in.
- Orders materials and equipment for projects, as well as coordinates the scheduling of staff (and the customer) to meet the needs of the project.
- Reviews engineered drawings to ensure the project is bid correctly, and that the project is going as quoted. Estimar
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and / or complaints throughout the project.
- Build relationships with prospective and current clients and vendors.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
One to two years of related experience (or applicable education) required.PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and / or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Personal Characteristics

Ability to lift, push, pull and move up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.Ability to climb Ladders and stairways regularly throughout the work shift.Ability to observe conditions and others as safety attendant staying alert while seated for long periods of time as needed.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other tools and equipment in a safe and controlled manner.Ability to perform inspections of site, tools, and equipment.Ability to perform behavioral observations focused on safety and process improvement.Ability to follow safety protocol and to report any incident, unsafe act, or unsafe condition immediately to the site supervisor and safety manager.Benefits :
