Product Intern - Ideation

Summer internship working with the Product Ideation Team. This role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day virtual, based in Colmar, PA. Internship will begin in late May 2026 and continue for 10-12 weeks. The summer intern will be exposed to many cross-functional areas and assist with projects that will support Dorman's product ideation team.

Market & Idea Discovery

• Support the Ideation team in analyzing big data to uncover new aftermarket growth opportunities.
• Assist in reviewing and vetting ideas from multiple channels, including Dorman Rewards, social media, failed OE searches, lost sales opportunities, and Techline submissions.

Process Support & Collaboration

Prototype & Testing Support

Qualifications

Physical Requirement : Capability to lift 20 pounds.

Working Conditions : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
