The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager / Ownership in meeting or exceeding sales, unit and profit targets, managing all functions within the store and plays a lead role in coaching and directing store associates.

High School diploma or GED2+ years of experience in the automotive industry as a Lead or Supervisory role1+ years of experience in retail salesWorking knowledge of Excel and of Microsoft Office productsExperience managing inventoryKnowledge of tires, tire related services, automotive services, and of retail business environmentAbility to communicate effectively with customers, associates and managementAbility to multitask effectivelyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift / carry up to 60 lbs., and push / pull up to 60 pounds up to 2 / 3 of the workdayMust also have the ability to lift / carry over 60 pounds and push / pull over 60 pounds up to 1 / 3 of the workdayValid drivers license and ability to operate company and customer vehiclesPreferred ExperienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Automotive field
