Job description

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

  • Responsible in weighing chemicals to be used for production orders in accordance with laboratory specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Read and understand batch orders to be processed and determine amount of chemicals required for each batch
  • Understand the process of weighing chemicals, double bag chemicals being weighed in a proper container for tare weight
  • Responsible in ensuring that all drums, bags or boxes are clean prior to use
  • Follow all SOP's that apply
  • Responsible for consistent observance of GMP, SOP and Safety Procedures.
  • Assist in the maintenance / observance of proper handling and storage of materials needed for production
  • Ensure that all OSHA, Safety Regulations, Labor Laws, and other governmental statutes are followed and obeyed
  • Attend all Company training encompassing GMP, SOP, Safety and cross training to expand employee capabilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Vision capabilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    • POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

  • This is a full-time position. The base days and hours are Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day depending on shift assigned.

    • TRAVEL

  • No travel is expected for this position.

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must have six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and / or training pre-weighing. Experience in a Cosmetic Manufacturing industry a plus.

    • ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

    • WORK AUTHORIZATION

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a pre-condition of employment.
