Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work in 27-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4-6 : 1

    • \n

  • Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics with additional staffing increases at 11am and 3pm

    • \n

  • Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics

    • \n

  • Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments and have 2-3 years ER experience

    • \n

  • Experience with high acuity ERs, fast-paced environments with high volume preferred

    • \n

  • Experience with patient ratios of 5 : 1 preferred

    • \n

  • Perform procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psychiatric patients, and transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : ENPC, NRP, NIH

    • \n

  • Use Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • Weekend requirement : four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period

    • \n

  • No on-call responsibilities

    • \n

  • No floating required

    • \n

  • Dress code : navy blue or white scrubs

    • \n

  • Must be relaxed, easy-going, friendly, team-oriented, and respectful

The emergency department handles a wide range of cases including high-acuity patients, stroke protocols, sepsis interventions, and psychiatric care, while maintaining strong transfer capabilities to other facilities when needed.
