Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Center

• Responsibilities : \n
• Follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policies. Communicate these to staff, residents, and families.\n
• Obtain and provide comprehensive reports at shift changes to ensure optimal patient care.\n
• Conduct resident rounds, manage care staff assignments, and report any significant changes in resident conditions promptly.\n
• Oversee direct resident care and evaluate staff performance, initiating corrective actions as required.\n
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders while following all regulatory guidelines.\n
• Perform and document thorough assessments of residents and create individualized care plans.\n
• Participate in the evaluation process of nursing assistants, providing feedback to supervisors.\n
• Check emergency equipment and ensure compliance with safety practices and infection control policies.\n
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders, including residents, families, and healthcare providers.\n
• Welcome new residents and assist with chaperoning them during appointments as needed.\n\nQualifications\n
• Education : Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field preferred.\n
• Experience : Minimum one year of experience in rehabilitative, psychiatric, or geriatric nursing preferred.\n
• Licensure : Must possess active Registered Nurse license in the state.\n
