Location : Lancaster, SC 29720 (South Carolina nursing jobs)

Facility Type : Short-term acute care hospital (97 staffed beds)

Department : Emergency Room / Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel nurse contract

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shifts : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Schedule : 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week (rotating weekends required)

Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,650 - $1,770

Charting System : Epic EMR

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Parking : Free onsite parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license or Compact nursing license (must be in hand prior to start)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS

TNCC certification preferred

Charge nurse experience required

First-time travel nurses accepted

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care to all age groups : neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Assess, triage, and manage emergency situations efficiently and professionally

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services

Serve as charge nurse when needed, providing leadership and support to the ER team

Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required

Float to similar units or sister facilities as needed
