Join Lantech as a 2nd shift Machining & Fabricator Team Leader in our CLIMATE CONTROLLED facility. We offer a 4-day work week with overtime opportunity, quarterly profitability bonuses , and TONS of opportunity for advancement. Our 2nd shift Machining & Fabricator Team Leader START at $29 / hr ($28 base pay + $1 shift differential)

2nd Shift : Mon - Thu, 3 : 15pm - 1 : 45 am

Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do :

Supervise machine CNC operators and machinists. Define CNC & machining processes and actively pursue continuous improvement. Launch new products using project management tools, specifying industry modern tools and / or fixtures for part production. Operate CNC & machining equipment and train associates to perform machining operations. Program CNC machines. Manage schedule and take appropriate proactive and reactive steps to complete items on time. Create corrective actions, put in place, and maintain visual and lean management. Report and correct work environment issues daily.

What are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who :

• Keep work area clean and free from safety hazards
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution
• Good record of following policies, procedures, and safe work practices
• Manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools from blueprints, and provide verbal instructions to others
• Train new personnel on the operation and safe use of mills, saws, CNC lathes, drill presses, saws, and other shop equipment
• Assist with the coordination of workflow through the machine shop
• Take direction from the Factory Leader and communicate priorities to other machine shop personnel
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and that deadlines are met according to demands set forth by our customers
• Is able stand for 9-10 hours per day
• Is able to pass a pre-employment physical demand screen (includes a work simulation; lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Is willing and able to work overtime to complete project and / or meet scheduling deadlines.
• Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.
