Venture Capital Portfolio Management (Finance and Operations)

Finance Department Team Member

As a member of the Nationwide Ventures team, you'll have the opportunity to improve, build, and manage our portfolio including all elements of financial analysis and reporting. You'll lead and automate, where possible, the quarterly portfolio valuation process and provide feedback to the investment team as a counterpart with portfolio level insights, strategy, and capital balancing. Nationwide Ventures makes direct investments in startup companies and facilitates partnerships between emergent technology startups and Nationwide's business units to help protect and improve the financial security of Nationwide's customers. Key responsibilities include :

• Manages and enhances Venture portfolio performance analytics, modeling, and reporting.
• Owns valuation process from point of investment to exit and presents quarterly analysis.
• Owns the organization of funding packages for venture deal closing.
• Prepares, tracks, and optimizes budgets for Ventures inclusive of vendors, travel, conferences, and more.
• Leads automation, process simplification, and next generation process changes using technology for portfolio and financial reporting.
