BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (Healthcare Provider / Professional Rescuer) R PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification R NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background. Certs and License cannot expire during the 1st 13 weeks FLU required. No exemptions Travel exp 5 years of exp preferred Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis. High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip / Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia) Successful completion of a general care orientation is required as well as two critical care unit orientations (PICU, NICU, or ED) and can independently initiate standards of nursing practice related to assigned patients. Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaboratively shared leadership environment.
