The Sponsor and Leveraged Finance Portfolio Management Analyst supports the Credit Products team and ongoing portfolio management and underwriting activities. In this role, the analyst will build upon the foundation set as an Analyst in areas such as cash flow analysis and modeling, capitalization, industry research, credit policy and legal documentation, among others, in analyzing and summarizing the creditworthiness of clients and prospects. The Analyst will also frequently collaborate with internal partners including Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, and other product partners in creating such analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
• Work directly with sales and credit personnel in generating approval documents
• Complete financial spreads, risk rating, performance tear sheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring & maintenance activities
• Portfolio Management of commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies. This may include underwriting, financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry and business risk evaluation and management assessment.
• Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources available; distilling key themes and conclusions into concise summary form for presentation purposes.
• Performs other duties, as assigned
