• Pay: $42.90 - $66.50 / hour. Pay is based on the applicant's relevant experience.

This is an onsite role located at UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion, US: CO: Aurora and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Summary:
As a Clinical Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient care within our Procedural Services. You'll collaborate with physicians and other health care teams to coordinate procedures in specialized areas, fulfilling both circulating and scrub roles as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a clinical expert in delivering top-notch patient care by serving as a role model and resource for specialty areas. Manage specialty cases and provide insightful recommendations for service delivery improvement.
• Evaluate nursing service objectives and document care provided as per established guidelines. Collaborate with staff and physicians to keep preference cards current and manage inventory of essential supplies.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and provide coaching to staff to foster skill growth and enhance team development.
• Ensure the availability of necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment while monitoring the shelf life of specialty goods. Assist with the development of staff through in-service programs and orientation in collaboration with an Educator.

Your role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Preferred: Certification in specialty area
• Two years of experience in the specific procedural area.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid upon start date.
