Building Maintenance Technician
Location : Riverside, MO
Duration : 5-6 months contract on W2
Pay Rate : $25 / hour
About the Role
As a Building Maintenance Technician for the Client, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting, and general maintenance. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the facility through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.
You'll be a member of the Engineering and Technical Services team, delivering preventive maintenance, technical expertise, and operational excellence across all building systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and life safety systems.
- Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and comply with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Assist in developing and executing preventive maintenance programs to maximize the life cycle of equipment and systems.
- Respond promptly to and resolve emergency maintenance issues.
- Maintain and support an effective energy management program to ensure optimal system performance and cost efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures for the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing, and other building systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior maintenance staff.

Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school certificate required.An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
