Customer Service / Sales Representative
Shift : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM (Schedule may vary slightly)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Customer Service / Sales Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, processing orders, and providing timely follow-ups. The ideal candidate will have experience in the aerospace or metal manufacturing industry , strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales and service.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and online portals
Process requests for quotes and orders accurately and promptly
Provide regular order status updates and follow-ups to customers
Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments such as Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality
Handle escalated issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and issue resolutions
Meet or exceed monthly booking / sales goals
Conduct outbound cold and warm calls to prospective and existing customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience , preferably in the aerospace or metal manufacturing industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP system experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
Additional Information
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations
