Ensure the plant is executing the Quality Management System to attain / maintain certification to the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard (BRC) for packaging and ISO 9001 : 2015.Manage internal Non-Conforming Materials and customer claims and resulting corrective and preventative actions.Serve as key facility interface with Sales Department on Customer issues and manage quality system improvements with the Plant Leadership Team and provide direction based on CAPA / trend analysis.Assure C of A's (standard and specialized) and other required documentation are provided to Customers as requested.Manage internal quality programs, including calibration, GMP, food safety, pest control, HACCP, audit processes, and lead Management review for QMS, including updates, as necessary.Prepare and update QMS related testing / training with training administrator.Lead improvement of the Quality System with Plant Manager to ensure continued improvement.Determine trends, causes and effects using statistical process control methods and report results.Interface with multiple disciplines, including industrial, pharmaceutical, specialty and food company contacts and CNG regulatory steward.Collaborating with Quality Managers at other sites on best practices.Understand all quality system operating procedures.Knowledge of ISO / QS standards.Lead / supervise plant Quality Assurance Department.Detail oriented and ability to be self-motivated.Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Sound judgment and decision making.Authoritative, directive leadership style that encourages results-driven, task-oriented collaboration.Management, teamwork, leadership, eye for detail, thoroughness and cool under pressure.Working creatively and analytical in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.A Strong Quality Manager Will Possess :
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.Minimum of (5) years' experience in quality management / assurance in a manufacturing environment.5+ year's supervisory experience in manufacturing with a minimum team size of 10-12 direct reports.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Work.In-depth knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology.Safety At CNG :
