Our beautiful 240-acre campus is one of the largest Continuing Care Retirement Communities in the United States. St. Leonard features independent living, assisted living, dementia care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, and adult day care as well as a community wellness center that encompasses a fitness center, and restaurant.
Job Responsibilities :
The Dayaway Resident Assistant is responsible for providing assistance with personal care and activities for physically and cognitively impaired program clients. The Dayaway Resident Assistant may care for the following age-specific populations : adults and older adults.
- Assists with clients’ personal care and activities of daily living needs which may include, but are not limited to : eating, walking, getting out of a chair, dressing, and assisting with the bathroom
- Assists the Dayaway Manager in planning and conducting a variety of activities and / or crafts tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of clients
- Assists with the preparation of meals and snacks.
- Maintains a safe, organized, clean, and smooth running environment within the Adult Day Program facility.
- Interacts effectively within multi-disciplinary team.
- Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies
