Job descriptionPerform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders. Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Verify patient identification, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and communicate findings or concerns to radiologists as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in multiple computer systems. Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards. Assist with general department tasks and collaborate with the radiology team to ensure efficient workflow. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Current ARRT certification (RT) with CT credentials or eligibility. Current State of Maine Radiologic Technologist license. Current BLS certification. Minimum of one year of CT experience.
