Recruiter
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter for an amazing contract role! The ideal candidate will bring strong sourcing and relationship-building skills, with prior experience working in a union environment considered a significant asset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, from job posting to onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and workforce needs
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Conduct phone screens, interviews, and coordinate selection processes
- Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor agreements, and employment laws
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular hiring reports
- Foster strong relationships with candidates, internal teams, and external partners
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required35 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within a unionized environmentStrong knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment regulationsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced settingProficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred :
Experience recruiting for skilled trades or labor rolesKnowledge of collective bargaining agreements and union relationsWhat We Offer :
