Plant Manager
It's an exciting time to join Kerry and we are hiring a Plant Manager for our Rhinelander, WI facility. You will be responsible for the overall management of the site, reporting directly into the Director of Operations. The Plant Manager role is pivotal in overseeing site operations and ensuring the plant's performance, safety, and growth. This position requires leadership, managing costs, quality, safety, personnel development, and customer relationships.
Key responsibilities :
- Direct and lead all operations within their plant
- Provide functional leadership within the plant
- Accountable for all QHSE initiatives across the site
- Responsible for all site capital projects
- Develop and maintain qualified personnel within all departments
- Maintain plant infrastructure for future viability and growth
- Accountable for providing a safe working environment
- Set overall expectations / standards and motivate employees to perform
- Drive a continuous improvement mind-set within plant environment
- Support cluster leads around strategy, policy and risk management
- Ensure talent management and succession planning strategy are executed
- Build relationships with customers at all levels
- Ensure plant inventory is managed appropriately
Qualifications and skills :
BS / MS degree in Engineering, Business, or Food Science10+ years of experience in manufacturingUnion experience preferredKnowledgeable in continuous improvement and analysisHACCP, OSHA and food safety experience preferredExperience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical industryUnderstands HACCP, ISO, FSAI & Kerry QSHE standards and SystemsThe typical hiring range for this role is $125,181 to $217,557 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
