Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative in industrial paint and chemical sales, you will leverage your proven expertise to deliver exceptional one-on-one sales-driven service. In this role, you will support North Carolina, South Carolina, and parts of Georgia by identifying and developing key regional accounts, driving sales opportunities, and executing strategic business plans to expand market share and enhance account profitability. Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive Regional Sales Growth - Achieve assigned sales quotas by developing key accounts and securing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships - Build rapport with prospective and existing customers through calls, emails, meetings, and marketing efforts.
  • Execute Sales Strategies - Maximize sales of automotive paint and products by identifying new clients, securing contracts, and implementing conversion plans.
  • Manage Key Accounts - Ensure customer satisfaction, drive mutual profitability, and support long-term business relationships.
  • Stay Engaged in Industry & Company Growth - Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and networking events to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in industrial or automotive paint and chemical sales, and will play a key role in growing our team. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred. This role requires strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain customer relationships with professionalism and discretion. Candidates must be flexible with work schedules, insurable for driving, and comfortable with travel and working in both office and customer-facing environments. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
