Job descriptionFabricate and modify mold components and inserts used in production tooling Conduct repairs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency Keep thorough records of mold history and documentation Operate sophisticated machining tools (including CNC mills, EDMs, and lathes) with precision Identify and address tooling-related challenges during production cycles Assist in achieving production objectives through various tasks and teamwork Clean, assemble, and reassemble molds according to established guidelines Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across functions Completion of a technical training program or apprenticeship in mold fabrication or precision machining or 5+ Years of experience in Mold Making 3+ years of applicable experience in mold creation and maintenance Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability Proficient in interpreting technical documents and performing basic math and data entry Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long durations Comfortable with repetitive hand and wrist movements Attention to detail for quality assurance inspections Open to working overtime and being part of on-call rotations Base salary in the 29.00 - 50.00 / hour range 10% evening shift premium Potential $3,000 sign-on bonus 3 weeks of paid vacation annually Eligibility for annual performance bonuses Generous 401k plan with full employer match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Tuition reimbursement for ongoing education
