Float Pool Registered Nurse - ED Boarding, Med / Surg, ICU - Night Shift
Join our vibrant Internal Float Pool where every night offers an exciting opportunity for growth and diverse experiences. As part of our dedicated team, you will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Each shift provides unique challenges that expand your clinical skills.

You will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care while ensuring safe and therapeutic environments according to established standards and policies. You will use evidence-based practices and skilled communication to create a positive patient experience throughout their care journey.
The role includes assessing patient needs, planning individualized interventions, evaluating effectiveness, and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and families. You will monitor significant changes in patient conditions and collaboratively coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
You will champion patient safety by proactively reducing risks and creating strategies tailored to patient and family learning needs. Additionally, you'll participate in discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives while promoting a culture of safety across the team.
Licenses & Certifications : Must hold a Registered Nurse license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Degrees : Completion of an accredited Nursing program is required.
