Security Professional - Tech / Media Unarmed Patrol

in

Leesburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech-driven location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.

Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.

Document observations and / or incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and interacting with personnel and visitors as needed.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Possession of a valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
