Job description

Coastal Machine & Supply is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our precision machining team. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with a strong manufacturing background who can take ownership of finalizing work orders and creating manufacturing plans that drive efficiency, precision, and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do

Finalize work orders and manufacturing plans for CNC machining operations.
Define machining operations, assign work to machines, and determine tooling / inspection requirements.
Collaborate with programming, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
Assist with CNC programming and creation of internal shop drawings.
Optimize scheduling and resource utilization to meet customer deadlines.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of machining experience in turning and milling.

Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and inspection processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models.

Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems (ProShop ERP experience a plus).

CAD / CAM or CNC programming experience preferred.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

U.S. Citizenship Required
