Our Accounting & Tax team ensures nonprofits stay financially strong and compliant with confidence. We’re growing — and we’re looking for a CPA who’s ready to step into a leadership role and help us scale this practice nationally.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Managing Director (CPA) to lead our Accounting & Tax business line. This is a player-coach role : you’ll manage your own portfolio of nonprofit clients while also building the systems, team, and processes that will fuel growth.

This is an opportunity to :

• Lead a business line with full P&L responsibility.
• Deliver expert nonprofit accounting and compliance services.
• Build a scalable practice alongside a mission-driven legal team.
• Help shape the future of a national platform serving nonprofit organizations.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of nonprofit accounting clients.
• Deliver accurate, timely compliance (Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, etc.).
• Mentor and lead a small team (Accountant + Services Manager).
• Implement systems and processes to support scale.
• Partner with FPLG attorneys to cross-sell and integrate services.
• Represent FPLG as a thought leader in nonprofit accounting and compliance.
