Task and Responsibilities :
- Process Optimization : Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Product Design Support : Collaborating with product designers and engineers to ensure that product designs are manufacturable and meet production requirements.
- Tooling and Equipment Selection : Selecting and designing tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Quality Control : Implementing quality control measures to maintain or improve product quality and consistency.
- Cost Analysis : Conducting cost analyses to determine the most cost-effective methods for high quality production.
- Production Planning : Developing production schedules, setting labor standards, and establishing workflows.
- Process Documentation : Meticulously documenting all manufacturing process information.
- Continuous Improvement : Identifying opportunities for process and method improvements, implementing changes, and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Equipment and Technology Upgrades : Identifying and implementing new equipment, technologies, and methodologies to increase production and reduce scrap.
- Problem-Solving : Assisting in troubleshooting production issues, whether related to components, processes, or quality, to maintain delivery schedules and quality.
- Quality System Compliance : Following industry-specific regulations and quality system protocols, such as ISO standards and FDA regulations, when applicable.
- CAPA and DMR : Participating in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and determining Discrepant Material Reports (DMR) disposition plans in collaboration with quality and production teams.
- Validation and Documentation : Executing Design of Experiments (DOE), validations, and control plans, and providing documentation for compliance and continuous improvement.
- OneTSS : Actively supporting production, engineering, and quality departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Education :
A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a field related to manufacturing, such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, quality control, and the use of industry-specific tools and software.Competencies :
