Job descriptionDevelop web-based applications in React in order to support application monitoring solutions for order processing and operations Support applications displaying real-time system performance Additional reporting and related tasks Reporting / KPI programming and development Web-based support of business processes Agile, SCRUM
This position reports to an IT leader and interfaces primarily with the Vistar and Corporate IT teams, but will also interact with key internal business partners. Vistar is committed to a collaborative, agile, and service-oriented culture that emphasizes employee growth with both internal and external relationship building.
The IT Intern will gain exposure to the following areas :
- The big picture / strategy of a Fortune 200 company, specifically how a distribution company operates, and how IT fits in and enables success
- How IT supports business processes
- Candy, snack, and beverage distribution industry (Food / Bev)
