R&D Senior Application Developer Foundation Software Strongsville, OH

Position Summary

Foundation Software, provider of construction software and services and one of Northeast Ohio's top workplaces, seeks a permanent, full-time Senior Application Developer for continued development and maintenance of our accounting software system. The position involves analysis, coding, debugging, troubleshooting and testing, using MS SQL Server and PowerBuilder. You will work closely with project managers and the QA team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Develop software according to end user requirements and quality standards.
• Debug the system and make necessary program design modifications, as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and other team members.
• Attend planning and design meetings.
• Assist in troubleshooting the application.
• Mentor other developers as needed.
• Perform all duties in a professional, responsive and collaborative manner with coworkers and supervisors.
