Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Label company located at Upland, Ca is seeking a qualified Quality Inspector with at least 6 months experience in this field.

• Schedule : 2pm-10 : 30pm (an 8-hr role) important : this position must be willing to transfer to any other shift for coverage. Training will also be provided in day shift.
• Work days : Mon – Fri with the occasional Saturday
• Hourly rate : $22.00 -$24.00

REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

English proficient (speak, write and read)

Safety Conscious Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PPT)

Xrite Program SOP Development & Implementation Equipment Calibration Understands Lean Manufacturing, including but not limited to 5S practices, as part of a continual improvement method Interpretation of Customer Specifications & Drawings Detail oriented and organized

Good mechanical aptitude and skills Daily Interaction with all employees Intricate Inspection & Routine Test Performance Root Cause Analysis, Corrective & Preventive Action Analytical, Out of the Box Thinker Presentation & Training Skills Strong Decision Making Skills Basic Math Skills Excellent color perception.

Must pass Titmus color perception testing.

Ability to work in and promote team environment.

POSITION MAIN DUTIES

1. Review product running on press and at finishing; make quality recommendations as needed

2. Final order approval, performance of routine testing, completing certificates of analysis

3. Participate & support Quality Management System Implementation

4. Participate in Customer Audits

5. Maintain Retain Files & Storage

6. Calibrate test equipment and complete associated documentation

7. Produce consistent high quality work

8. Work in an efficient and orderly manner

9. Manage Emails

10. Support Root Cause Analysis of Internal / External Quality Concerns

11. Participate in implementing corrective and preventive actions & effective checks
