This internship experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. At the conclusion of this position, interns will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how finance works at an asset manager.
The MFS Summer Internship program is a 10-12-week program, starting June 2nd, 2026, and ending on August 7th, 2026. Students work full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week and are paid hourly. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Internships are open to students who are rising seniors (class of 2027).
MFS is a hybrid work environment (with 2 remote days and 3 on-site days) unless otherwise stated in the job posting.
The Role
Our finance team works side by side with each business group to capture financial information including revenue and expenses as well as key metrics that drive the business such as sales and assets. By working closely with our Corporate Finance team, this associate supports the financial and operational needs of the business through reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Working toward a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in finance, accounting or other related financial discipline.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including listening skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
