A company is looking for an Actuarial Analyst - Financial & Professional Lines.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with building and maintaining pricing models for various business units
Perform actuarial duties including profitability studies, competitor research, and reinsurance support
Engage with underwriting teams and leverage data analytics for pricing and underwriting functions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
0-3 years of actuarial experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Two or more actuarial exams passed preferred; desire to pursue actuarial credential supported
Experience with scripting and programming languages such as R and SQL preferred
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment in a growing company
