Adams & Martin Group is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a legal administrative and executive support position focused on entering, managing, analyzing, and synthesizing client file data and documents, with the goal of generating firm-wide accurate and complete reports. The position is with a plaintiffs' law firm located downtown St. Louis and is open on a temp-to-hire or direct hire basis . The position includes working directly with and coordinating document management and data entry among multiple teams of attorneys and paralegals under the direct supervision of case work-up paralegal manager. The candidate will be responsible for representing the Firm with empathy, integrity and professionalism and support the firm's mission.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Enter, manage, refine, filter and summarize data primarily using Excel or other basic data tools (knowledge of Trial Works Database a plus).
Complete projects, proactively or as assigned, to ensure continuous improvement of data entry and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Draft / prepare reports and summary communication as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
Independent ability to self-start and manage assigned tasks with little supervision; ability to be proactive and take initiative
Strong critical thinking and a natural curiosity for problem-solving.
Experience in a professional office environment - law firm experience preferred.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, along with a natural desire to help people.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods working at a desk focusing on computer-oriented tasks.
