Organization Design and Development Lead

ExxonMobil is seeking an Organization Design and Development Lead to shape and evolve the company's organizational structure to align with strategic goals.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead initiatives that integrate formal structures with informal dynamics to drive performance, agility, and employee engagement. This role requires deep expertise in organizational design methodologies, change management, and the ability to apply behavioral insights, tools, and systems to optimize organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include :

• Leading org design efforts across business units
• Designing and implementing formal organizational models
• Analyzing informal networks and cultural dynamics
• Leading spans and layers analysis, workforce modeling, and capability mapping
• Partnering with change management, HR, and business leaders to guide organization design change initiatives
• Facilitating embedding new structures and behaviors
• Collaborating with HR and business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational design
• Supporting succession planning, leadership development, and team effectiveness initiatives
• Applying behavioral science to influence leadership behaviors, team dynamics, and cultural alignment
• Utilizing organizational design tools to model and visualize structures
• Leveraging data to assess organizational health and effectiveness
