Nurse Next Door is looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehabilitative speech therapy services to clients in their homes. The SLP will deliver care in accordance with physician referrals and all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans with functional, measurable goals
Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to patients
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize therapy software appropriately
Liaise with patients, families, and care team members to coordinate care
Participate in community health initiatives when appropriate
Demonstrate dependable attendance, good judgment, and a positive, professional attitude
Support evacuation procedures and patient safety protocols as needed
Adhere to company policies, compliance training, and maintain confidentiality standards
Education and Licensure Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program (minimum MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology)
Licensed and registered as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state; must maintain in good standing
or
One (1) year of experience in post-acute or related healthcare setting
Job Requirements :
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to make independent decisions when needed
Working knowledge of therapy regulations and post-acute care guidelines
Ability to perform physical demands of the job (sitting, standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
English fluency (read, write, speak, and understand)
