Job description
Production Helper III - US Blue Springs, MO 2 Months 2nd shift-3pm to 11pm 3rd shift-11pm to 7am Primary Duties of the Production Worker position include safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safely operating a variety of manufacturing equipment, following specific directions, and performing duties as assigned. Performing complete make-ready and shutdown. Understanding and verification of Quality Inspection Criteria Product Identification and Labeling Maintaining Waste and Efficiency standards Performing inspections on various equipment for proper operation and reporting questionable conditions. Performing various housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions with minimal supervision to ensure areas are clean and free from debris. What you need to succeed: General mechanical aptitude & trouble shooting skills. Be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time. Good communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff. Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery. Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred. Requirements: Provide proof of 18 years of age or older. Must be available to work ANY shift and Overtime as needed, up to 12 hours a day, and some Saturdays. Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16 measurement, do basic math, and some computer skills. Ability to work safely, comply with all safety rules, lift, push or pull up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift. HS diploma or GED required. Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery. TOP REQUIREMENTS 1. Manufacturing experience 2. Able to work in a safety sensitive environment 3. Able to work OT as needed
