About the Position :
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will ensure the safe and effective use of medication, perform collaborative drug therapy management functions, and provide excellent telephonic patient care. This role also includes overseeing the training program for pharmacy interns, preparing them for graduation or licensure.

We seek candidates who exemplify outstanding patient service skills, particularly in telephonic communication, along with strong judgment and decision-making abilities, the capacity to motivate and lead others, and a commitment to excellent attention to detail and effective communication. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as no prior experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Review patient records to determine the appropriateness of medication therapy.
- Evaluate patient conditions comprehensively to ensure all health issues are addressed.
- Identify untreated health problems and refer patients to appropriate physicians.
- Develop effective medication plans that minimize the risk of adverse side effects.
- Prepare patient work-ups and retrieve relevant patient and lab data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drug therapy, monitoring, dosing, and disease treatment.
- Stay informed about federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Review and assess medical literature relevant to clinical practice.
- Demonstrate knowledge in specialty pharmacy, including dispensing, insurance, and clinical care.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy files and patient profiles.
- Provide specialized services to help patients manage conditions, including training on medical device use.
- Oversee all aspects of pharmacy purchasing, including medication procurement, inventory management, and contracting.
- Analyze drug utilization data to identify and execute improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with practitioners, pharma reps, and attend industry meetings.
- Assist the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) with the accreditation process for URAC, ACHC, and DMEPOS.
