Hydraulic Shovel Operator

Move levers to control tool bars, carriers, and disks. Move hand and foot levers to control the hydraulic shovel. Use the shovel to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth, and width. Remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks. Move levers and depress pedals to maneuver equipment and raise, lower, and tilt attachment to clear right of way. Feel lever and listen for stalling action of the engine to estimate depth of cut. Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Other job duties designated by management. Must have driver's license to operate equipment.
