Pay Information $190 to $210 per hour About The Position Obstetrics and Gynecology Locums Physician - North Carolina Call-only OB / GYN assignment in Hickory, North Carolina, located near Charlotte, with open dates through the end of the year and into 2026. Highlights Inpatient call only, no clinic or scheduled procedures Average 3 patients per shift with 4 phone consults Home call permitted within 30 minutes of the hospital Practice Setting 355-bed community hospital 276 annual deliveries Two RNs on-site for support during shifts Cerner EMR Schedule 24-hour call shifts, 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. Choose your own dates, 5 or more shifts per month preferred PRN dates available into 2026 Cases and Procedures Labor and delivery, C-sections, and OB triage Mix of low- and high-risk pregnancies No elective or outpatient procedures Requirements Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active North Carolina license and DEA ACLS and BLS certifications required Travel and Accommodations Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided Lodging available near hospital with preferred hotel rate Interested?
