Unit Overview :
Be a part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, providing care to a diverse patient population including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.Your Role :
Deliver and coordinate evidence-based patient care.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive and compassionate care.Utilize critical thinking and communication skills for optimal patient outcomes.Why Join Advocate Health?

Assess patient needs and collaborate on individualized care plans.Anticipate and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.Implement patient safety strategies and evaluate care outcomes.Coordinate discharge planning with an interdisciplinary approach.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.Qualifications :
Registered Nurse license in your practicing state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Completion of an accredited nursing program.Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking throughout the workday, with the ability to lift and transfer patients as necessary.
