In this position, you'll lead the security initiatives for strategic projects within our diverse business lines. By partnering with business leaders, technology experts, and risk management teams, you'll ensure that we achieve our goals swiftly and securely, leveraging the latest technologies and modern software architectures. You will also provide invaluable product security advisory services and collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the implementation of end-to-end security for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Execute the divisional cyber strategy, managing risks for top business initiatives and technology platforms across the organization.
• Serve as the primary contact for technology executives regarding Capital One's cyber risk management priorities.
• Educate and engage executive leadership to harness security capabilities effectively while mitigating risks and addressing emerging threats.
• Provide insights on prioritization and management of information security risks and initiatives.
• Deliver regular updates on the overall information security health and risk environment to executive leadership.
• Foster relationships and collaborate extensively with other Cyber and Technology teams to drive innovation.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and their implications for the organization.

This role is based in one of the following locations : Chicago, IL; McLean, VA; Plano, TX; or Richmond, VA. Capital One offers competitive salaries ranging from $239,900 to $301,200 based on location and experience. This position may also include performance-based incentive compensation.
