CMA with Certification

Certified Medical Assistant job description (CMA for Alanta location in downtown ) The full-time need is at the Downtown location and they are looking for Temp only right now.

This is a temp to perm position Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, CMA certification and BLS required. Spanish and English speaking candidates are good but not required. Pay is based on experience. Must have CPR and MA certification. Back office skills such as Six months to one-year previous experience in health-related area required. Experience in phlebotomy, conducting basic lab procedures, and Medical Assistant education is required. Experience and knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA guidelines. Pay is $18.00-$22.00 / hour depending on experience.

Provides patient care and or support activities appropriate to all ages served; primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients' ages over 65. May also include care for infant age 0-1-year, child ages 1-12 years or adolescent ages 13-17 years.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

High School graduate, minimum of two years computer literacy, word processing, spreadsheets, EMR, Medical Assistant Diploma, Certification is required with BLS experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Two to three years of experience working in a private physician's office or community health center preferred.

Experience and knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA guidelines preferred.
